Every stroke survivor’s story and experience is unique.  Genetics, part of the brain affected, amount of brain damage, rehabilitation, will power, and persistence all play a role in recovery.  It can be a dark and unsure time for families who have a loved one that had a stroke, but hope should not be lost.  Recovery is possible with lifestyle modifications, supporting family, and a dedicated individual who can serve as a caregiver and motivation for your loved one.  Check this webpage titled Inspirational Stories of Stroke Survivors to get motivated and believe that your loved one will be well again!

At A-1 Home Care, we provide compassionate living assistance for stroke survivors.  We provide Post Stroke Care on a 24 hour Live-In Care or Hourly Care basis and can assist with activities of daily living, personal care, healthy meal preparation, exercise, errands, and any doctor/therapist/dietician recommended lifestyle changes that need to be followed through.

All of our Post Stroke caregivers, nurse aides, companions, and home helpers must have prior at home caregiving experience, verifiable professional references, a National Background Check/DMV Check, Tuberculosis testing, Malpractice/Liability insurance, First Aid/CPR training, and a personal interview with our office staff.

We serve the LA communities of Los Angeles, Glendale, Hollywood, Santa Monica, Palos Verdes, Marina Del Rey, Century City, Studio City, Sherman Oaks, Brentwood, Beverly Hills, and others in Los Angeles County.
